Heather Holmes

Heather Holmes is Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering at the University of Utah. She was a recipient of the 2020 Fulbright Future Scholarship from the Australian-American Fulbright Commission and the National Science Foundation CAREER Award in 2020. She received the AMS Editor’s Award for the Bulletin of the American Meteorological Society in 2019. Her research focus is using ground-based sensors, atmospheric models, and satellite remote sensing to investigate atmospheric physics, air pollution sources, transport and dispersion, and provide data for human health and public policy assessments. She received her masters and doctorate from the University of Utah.
