Desire to explore new ideas and build brain trust.
Tell us a bit about your role with the MITCNC. What are your responsibilities in this position?
I have thus far been focused on event planning and production because that is how MITCNC can deliver the most value to its members.
What exciting things can we expect to see from your area of focus in the coming months? (e.g., social events, speakers, etc.)
On 10/29, the MITCNC Fintech team will be hosting a talk by MIT Media Lab’s Professor Pentland on “Toward New Economic Models Using Data Unions.” This seminar will explore how the concept of Data Union can catalyze new forms of community based economic organizations and development. Come hear how Data Union and Cryptocurrency may show up at your local Credit Unions.
