Trevor Wende is a partner at Growthworks.ai and has over 20 years of experience at the cutting edge of energy technology.  Growthworks.ai applies data science and artificial intelligence techniques to better understand demand and supply in wholesale power markets.   Mr. Wende has worked in both consulting and operational roles in the sector, including several years within McKinsey & Company’s Electric Power and Natural Gas practice, where he revamped the firm’s North American power market modeling tools and helped start the cleantech practice segment. In operational and other advising roles, Mr. Wende has done projects on lithium-ion batteries, flow batteries, pumped storage, energy efficiency, solar power-electronics, smart-grid, fuel cells, demand side management and hydrogen infrastructure.  Mr. Wende earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from UC Berkeley and an MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Management.
