Thuan Pham is the Chief Technology Officer at Uber where he is responsible for scaling the company’s technical teams and its technology investments to meet rapid growth and performance. His organization includes thousands of engineers, data scientists, AI researchers, and technical program managers across five continents building everything from Uber’s corporate infrastructure to the data platforms and machine learning engines to support a growing product portfolio. Previously, Thuan served as Vice President of Engineering at VMWare, and led engineering organizations at Westbridge and Doubleclick. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering and an M.S. in EE/CS from MIT.
