Dr Ted Dawson’s discoveries in the role of nitric oxide and molecular mechanisms of neurodegeneration have led to innovative approaches and new agents to treat neurologic disorders (e.g. Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease).
He received his MD and PhD at University of Utah and is the Leonard and Madlyn Abramson Professor in Neurodegenerative Diseases at Johns Hopkins University.
