Sun Yoo practices as an Internal Medicine Physician at UCLA. She is the Medical Director of the Extensivist Program and Care Transitions at UCLA, focusing on comprehensive care for medically complex patients. She is a residency continuity clinic director for the Internal Medicine Residency Program, and Director of the Health Systems and Management Pathway. She started the COVID Ambulatory Monitoring Program, along with her colleagues, to deliver comprehensive care for COVID-19 patients that are being treated at home, as well as to closely monitor COVID-19 patients being discharged from the hospital. She received her MD from Harvard Medical School, her MPH from Harvard School of Public Health, and a SB in Brain and Cognitive Sciences from MIT (’07).
