Sophia Yen, MD, MPH (MIT ’93 course 7) is CEO and Co-Founder of Pandia Health (the end to end solution for prescription birth control for women) and an Associate Clinical Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Adolescent Medicine at Stanford. She has a passion for making women’s lives easier and preventing unplanned pregnancies. She has spoken on #PeriodsOptional and Emergency Contraception in her TedX BayArea Women talk, grand rounds at Stanford Pediatrics, and to college and high school students. Sophia grew up in the Bay Area and graduated from: Homestead High in Cupertino, MIT,  UCSF Medical School, Children’s Hospital Oakland pediatrics residency, Adolescent Medicine fellowship at UCSF, and UC Berkeley’s MPH program.
