Seth Mnookin is a journalist, author, and director of MIT’s Graduate Program in Science Writing. His most recent book, The Panic Virus: The True Story Behind the Vaccine-Autism Controversy, won the National Association of Science Writers “Science in Society” Award and was a Los Angeles Times Book Prize finalist. He is also the author of the New York Times bestseller Feeding the Monster and Hard News, a Washington Post Best Book of the Year. A 2019 Guggenheim Fellow, he has covered everything from rare diseases and the Iraq War to Stephen Colbert and Batman. He has written for numerous publications, including The New Yorker, The New York Times, The Washington Post, and Vanity Fair.
