Randi Hutter Epstein, MD, MPH, is a medical writer, Writer in Residence at Yale School of Medicine, lecturer in the English Department at Yale University, and an adjunct professor at Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. Her articles have appeared in national publications including the New York Times, Washington Post and Psychology Today. She is the author of Get Me Out: A History of Childbirth from the Garden of Eden to the Sperm Bank and, most recently, Aroused: The History of Hormones and How They Control Just About Everything, both published by WWNorton. She lives in NYC with her husband and has four grown children.
