Dr Michael Abramoff is a pioneering physician-scientist and entrepreneur on a mission to end blindness with AI. As Founder and Executive Chairman, he holds 16 patents on AI and sensors to make Digital Diagnostics the first company ever to receive FDA clearance for an autonomous AI diagnostic system. He is also the Watzke Professor of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the University of Iowa.

Trained as a physician-scientist including a PhD in image analysis, Dr Abramoff continues to treat patients with retinal disease and mentor medical and engineering students at the University of Iowa.
