Over the course of her career, May-Li has worked with organizations ranging from IBM, Microsoft, and the MIT MediaLab, to the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, Universal Music Group, and Oakland Museum of California. She also DJs, dances, and cultivates joyful ways to subvert the status quo.
Scribble Together is an app that provides a high-quality, straightforward, collaborative whiteboard experience; in other words, it helps people draw together with anyone, anywhere. Created by May-Li Khoe and her co-founder Bridger Maxwell with remote teams and tutoring in mind, these days they’re working extra hard to support everyone who is leaning on it for learning and collaboration.SF Chinese Food Club (soon to be Chinese Food Club) was created by Linda Dong, Jessie Char, and May-Li Khoe to showcase the incredibly diverse array of Chinese food available for delivery during shelter-in-place in San Francisco. The curation encourages people to try dishes they might otherwise not have known to try, and covers three needs at once: helping people eat tasty food from home, supporting local Chinese businesses, and helping locals feel empowered to counterract the racism that has been affecting Chinese businesses across the country.
