Jeff is passionate about designing for mobility, cities, and supply chain systems. Currently, he is a design lead at Autodesk by way of acquisition from PlanGrid (YC ’12), where he builds and scales up products for the digital construction industry. Previously he’s had the pleasure of collaborating at Samsung Research and IDEO Shanghai, and other design consultancies. He holds a BS in Architecture from MIT and an MS in Industrial Design from ArtCenter College of Design. Outside you might find him dabbling in food experiments or exploring the great outdoors.
Covid Wire is a news aggregator focused on delivering hyperlocal, accurate and up-to-date information around COVID-19. While the Coronavirus pandemic is global, its impact on America’s communities is local. In this chaotic and unpredictable time, people are seeking information that helps them better understand what’s going on in their local community, and how it affects their lives. They want to know about testing in their area, which grocery stores deliver, and which public institutions are closed.
We’re a volunteer team of 16+ journalists, designers, engineers, editors, and builders. Each of us were frustrated by the challenges of navigating the COVID-19 information landscape and decided to do something about it. We all come from different parts of the country, bringing different lenses and expertise to the crises.
