Nominate for additional Board term:  Larry Kelly, Ronald Koo, Ed Tau

Nominate for new Board term:  Jose Cisneros, Shuja Keen, Judith Selvidge

Larry Kelly `70 is Managing Director of Kelly Ventures, and is active in venture investing and building portfolio companies in both the information and the energy sectors. He has an SB in Mechanical Engineering and an SM in Nuclear Science and Engineering from MIT and an MBA from Harvard. He chairs the energy interest sector for the Band of Angels.

Ronald Koo '89 was Vice President of Events from 1992 to 1994.  He runs a small research at Maxim Integrated Products where he develops cool, new things with a time horizon longer than one year. He has an SB and an SM in Electrical engineering from MIT.  He was VP of MITCNC, is Chair of the Audit Committee and has served on served on the Alumni Selection Committee and the MITAA BOD.

Edward Tau ’95, is a Software Consultant with experience in consumer internet and finance. He has SB and SM degrees from MIT in Electrical Engineering Computer Science.  Before becoming a member of the BOD in 2001, Ed served as VP of Communications, he is Chair of the Sponsorship Committee.  His interests include finance, software, and education.

Jose Cisneros ’78 is the Treasurer for the City & County of San Francisco.  He has an SB from MIT in Management and an MBA from Boston University.  He has served as Deputy GM of Capital Planning & External Affairs, Senior International Product Manager at IBM, and Assistant VP at the Bank of Boston.  His Board volunteer experience is extensive and includes the Equality California Institute, the Alice B. Toklas LGBT Democratic Club and the League of California Cities.

Judith Selvidge ’62 is an Independent Consultant and Author.  She has an SB in Humanities from MIT, a postgraduate degree from Imperial College and a DBA from Harvard Business School.  She has worked in Consulting for both public and private entities.  She is past Treasurer of the MITCNC, and has volunteered with the HBS Association of Northern California and served as Past President, VP, and Treasurer of the San Carlos Library.

Shuja Keen ’99 is a Managing Director of The Resource Group and Founding Partner of Mentors Fund.  He has an SB in Management from MIT.  He has served as Spotlight Chair for MITCNC from 2014-present, and Chair of the MITCNC Tech Track from 2016-present.  Shuja is a Founding Board Member of the educational nonprofit The Spark Academy, and o the Board of Invest2Innovate and Developments in Literacy.

Parking is hourly at parking meters on Saturdays around the LiveRamp SF office (credit cards and quarters accepted).  The address has two entrances – please use the entrance lobby alongside Coffee Cultures.  Please register here on MITCNC website in advance, and provide a photo ID to the security guard who will confirm your name on the guest list.   Then proceed to elevators and the 17th Floor.
