Participate in a fire chat discussion with Venezuelans and MIT alumni from Venezuela. We will get facts from the ground on the causes of the current crisis in Venezuela.

 

Special guests:
- Juan Andres Mejias - Congressmen from Venezuela - via VC from DC
- Francisco Marquez - Director Ejecutivo de Visión Democrática - via VC from Venezuela
- CodeforVenezuela organizing commitee in San Francisco

 

We will explore how technology platforms have shaped and impacted the dynamics of the crisis.

 

We will provide food and beverages. Beer, wine and snacks.

 

Code for Venezuela San Francisco is a hackathon that will take place in San Francisco in April 2019 and is focused on the development of ideas aimed at helping with the humanitarian crisis in Venezuela.
