Technological innovation provides an unprecedented opportunity to improve the quality of education around the world and address profound inequalities. However, misguided investments in ed-tech can exacerbate inequalities and even be a detriment to learning. Dr Glennerster, Executive Director of J-PAL at MIT, will discuss how J-PAL researchers are collaborating with ed-tech innovators to design more effective technology and rigorously test alternative solutions. She will explain how MIT is using innovative approaches to help close the education divide, and ensure that people across the world have access to the results of cutting edge research.

Enjoy light refreshments, lively discussion on innovation, and an evening of networking with others in ed-tech.
