This talk will be about learnings from the journey of MIT founded startup Segment from its earliest days to acquisition by Twilio in 2020.  Segment was founded by three MIT grads in 2012 and their product collects analytics and marketing data from multiple tools in one place, allowing it to be queried via SQL. Segment serves as an inspiration for many developer-focused companies.

Calvin was the co-founder and CTO of Segment, until it was acquired by Twilio for 3.2B in November 2020. Prior to that, he studied CS at MIT.  You can find Calvin online at https://calv.info/
