Trevor Noah’s unlikely path from apartheid South Africa to the desk of The Daily Show began with a criminal act: his birth. Born a Crime provides a first-hand account of the last days of apartheid and its aftermath, and what it was like to grow up as a mixed-race child when mix-race relationships were considered crimes and punishable by 5 years in prison. Trevor describes his experiences with the writing of a true comedian.
