Join us for free admission to and an insider's tour of the Exploratorium, the hands-on, interactive museum of science, art, and human perception in San Francisco. Fellow alum and Exploratorium docent Ernest Aguayo '97 will lead us through the six galleries, highlighting some of the most-interesting and most-famous exhibits. We also hope to check-out some behind-the-scenes areas of the museum, such as the workshop where the exhibits are made and maintained. Also of note: The brand-new exhibition "Self, Made" which focuses on self identity and expression, the assumptions we make of others, the stereotypes, labels, and challenges that people of color and the LGBTQ community face, and more. On display as part of this exhibition are the Shuri and Black Panther costumes from the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies.
After the tour, attendees are free to explore on their own until the museum closes at 5pm. This event is recommended for ages 7 to adult. In order to be fair to all interested, please only RSVP for these very-limited spots if you are sure you will be able to attend.
